Environmental Health & Safety Manager
As Environmental, Health and Safety Manager, you're responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring all occupational health and safety activities on your assigned projects. You ensure compliance with legal requirements, project-specific and client requirements as well as CORUS standards and foster a proactive safety culture among everyone involved on the projects.
Your role
- Development and implementation of project-specific EHS plans, procedures and risk assessments as well as CORUS standards
- Technical leadership and resource planning of the EHS operatives on the assigned projects
- Regular presence on the projects including walkthroughs, inspections and audits
- Monitoring and enforcement of EHS compliance among contractors and project stakeholders
- Investigation of incidents and near-misses including root-cause analysis and corrective measures
- Planning and delivery of training, toolbox talks and emergency drills
- Preparation of EHS key figures and reports as well as reporting of incidents and KPIs to project management and the client
Your profile
- Completed technical education with a formal EHS qualification (e.g. ASGS specialist, SiBe, NEBOSH, safety engineer)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS management on complex construction sites
- Experience in datacenter, industrial or mission-critical projects an advantage
- Solid knowledge of site-specific EHS requirements
- Strong communication, training and conflict-resolution skills
- Confident use of EHS management tools and reporting systems
- Excellent German and English communication, written and spoken
