10 years of CORUSAn anniversary behind medieval walls

On Wednesday, July 1, 2026, CORUS opened two chapters at once: ten years of company history and a new identity. We celebrated where permanence is meant literally, at Habsburg Castle.

Started small, grown large

In 2016 Cosimo Russo founded CORUS with a clear ambition: to guide construction projects with the precision of people who understand what is being built. A small structure, big energy.

The first projects lay in electrical planning and specialist electrical site management, together with integrated testing. Step by step, commissioning grew out of that, and eventually the path to fit-out contractor for data centers.

Ten years on, that has become a team of more than 30 people who have handed over more than 20 projects: data centers at the core, alongside hotels, research facilities and offices, and demanding refurbishments. The ambition has stayed the same: deliver projects with the precision and commitment of a team focused on the client's vision.

New, but unmistakably us

The tenth year was the right moment to set the course for what comes next. So we did for ourselves what we usually do for others: brought structure to our own complexity. Since July 1, 2026, CORUS appears with a new brand, a new website (corus.ag), a new management team and, newly, on LinkedIn.

A celebration behind medieval walls

The anniversary day began not at the castle, but where CORUS is at home: on the construction site. It opened with a shared lunch for everyone involved and every tradesperson: as thanks to those who build our projects alongside us day after day.

In the evening it continued at Habsburg Castle, with the whole team and companions of the journey: an apéro in the castle cellar, dinner in the Knights' Hall, a photo bus in constant use and, to close, a sunset over the Aare valley. The contrast could hardly have been greater and hardly more fitting:

«We spend our days building the most modern infrastructure there is and marked the milestone behind the walls of one of Switzerland's most historic medieval castles. It reminds me of what I care about in my work too: buildings that create lasting value and impact.»

New partners

Ten years of CORUS are, above all, the story of the people behind it. Projects have grown, topics have become more complex, and responsibility today rests on more shoulders. The anniversary brought a special piece of news with it: Jessika Lehniger, Ksenia Bluche and Nina Russo were appointed partners of CORUS (Switzerland) AG.

A big thank you to everyone who made this evening, and the past ten years, possible: on the construction site, in the office and everywhere in between.

The next ten years

We look ahead with fresh energy at the road in front of us, with the same attitude that has shaped us since day one. Or, put briefly:

Ten years are only the beginning.
